Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions related to the use of the web pages located at https://amonline.ie/.

Visitors who use this website, including those who purchase an individual membership, a school licence or are members through a school licence (herein referred to collectively as members), are acknowledging that they have read, understand and agree to follow what is stated below.

MEMBERSHIP

A visitor must accurately complete the full membership checkout process in order to use the membership-only content of this website.

When purchasing a membership, a visitor agrees to be charged the amount shown at checkout. Such a payment grants that visitor permission to access all of the licenced material on this website, thereby becoming a member, until the expiration date stated therein.

A visitor has the right to cancel their first membership for a full refund, no questions asked, as long as that request is made within 24 hours of that membership purchase. We reserve the right to refuse this request if we have evidence that suggests that a visitor has created multiple accounts.

Any requests for a refund beyond this time is instead at the discretion of A.M. Online and may be declined.

Each member is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account password and agrees to notify A.M. Online of any unauthorised use of their account. In the event that someone else uses a member’s account, that member may be held liable for losses incurred by A.M Online. A.M Online will not be liable for any loss that a member may incur as a result of someone else using their account or password, either with or without their knowledge.

Use of a membership by more than one individual is considered a violation of these Terms and Conditions. A.M Online reserves the right to terminate that account and access to our licensed material without any notice or refund.

Active teachers are forbidden from purchasing an individual student membership, be it for their own personal use or for use in a classroom setting. The use of such a membership by a teacher is considered a violation of these Terms and Conditions. A.M Online reserves the right to terminate that account and access to the A.M Online content without any notice or refund. Legal action may also be taken due to a loss of revenue. Teachers who wish to make use of this website are instead requested to do so with the purchase of a school licence, the terms and conditions of which are outlined below.

At any point, some of the membership content (defined below) may be temporarily taken off the website so that it may be updated and improved upon. By obtaining a membership, a visitor is confirming that they accept the possibility that some of the content that we have stated as being included with a membership may not be available for their entire membership due to such updates.

Any visitor under the age of 16 who wishes to obtain a membership on A.M. Online must have first been granted permission by a parent or guardian to obtain said membership.

GRINDS

A visitor must accurately complete the full grind checkout process in order successfully book a grind.

When booking a grind, a visitor agrees to be charged the amount shown at checkout. Such a payment grants that visitor permission to attend a grind for the time and duration stated during the checkout process.

A visitor has the right to cancel any grind for a full refund, no questions asked, as long as that request is made within 24 hours of the booking of said grind.

A changing of the timeslot of the grind can also be requested, no questions asked, if 1) at least 3 hours notice is given before the time at which the grind is due to commence and 2) a suitable timeslot is available in the corresponding calendar. Any requests for a changing of the timeslots within 3 hours is instead at the discretion of A.M. Online and may be declined.

We reserve the right to refuse either of the above requests if we believe that a visitor has been making an unreasonable amount of said requests.

Any visitor who successfully books a grind with A.M. Online will also receive a personalised password-protected web page on A.M. Online. Such visitors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password needed to access this page and agrees to notify A.M. Online of any unauthorised access of that page. In the event that someone else accesses this page, that visitor may be held liable for losses incurred by A.M Online. A.M Online will not be liable for any loss that a visitor may incur as a result of someone else accessing this page, either with or without their knowledge.

During a grind, a student is expected to behave in a similar manner to that outlined by the “Code of Behaviour” of their school. If a student instead behaves in a manner that we believe is reducing the overall effectiveness of that grind, we reserve the right to terminate that grind without the possibility of a refund.

Any visitor under the age of 16 who wishes to book a grind on A.M. Online must have first been granted permission by a parent or guardian to book said grind.

CLASSES

A visitor must accurately complete the full classes checkout process in order successfully book a slot for the corresponding course of classes.

When booking this course, a visitor agrees to be charged the amount shown at checkout. Such a payment grants that visitor permission to attend a class for each of the thirty weeks of school term, the times and durations of which are stated during the checkout process.

Due to the difficulty in finding a replacement after a course has already commenced, a visitor will only be partially refunded if they wish to cancel their attendance of the classes within the course, the amount by which is outlined below:

  • 50% refund if the request made within the first 5 of the 30 classes
  • 25% refund if the request made within the first 10 of the 30 classes
  • 0% refund if the request made after the first 10 of the 30 classes

If the student, parent of guardian instead personally knows of a student who would be willing to act as a replacement, that replacement can be made as long as we have been notified of said replacement.

A changing of the timeslot of the classes can also be requested, no questions asked, if 1) at least 24 hours notice is given before the time at which the course is due to commence and 2) a suitable timeslot is available in the corresponding calendar. Any requests for a changing of the timeslots within 24 hours is instead at the discretion of A.M. Online and may be declined.

We reserve the right to refuse either of the above requests if we believe that a visitor has been making an unreasonable amount of said requests.

Any visitor who successfully books a course of said classes will also receive a free membership. Such visitors will therefore also be considered members and are therefore also bound to the terms & conditions outlined in the “Memberships” section above.

During a class, a student is expected to behave in a similar manner to that outlined by the “Code of Behaviour” of their school. If a student instead behaves in a manner that we believe is reducing the overall effectiveness of that class, we reserve the right to remove that student from that specific class. If such behaviour is repeated over multiple classes, we reserve the right to remove that student in advance from all remaining classes without the possibility of a refund.

Any visitor under the age of 16 who wishes to book a course of classes on A.M. Online must have first been granted permission by a parent or guardian to book said course.
